The building is a former water treatment facility that has benefited from the first wave of rehabilitation of industrial heritage. Transformed into a public venue, the Transbordeur has been hosting concerts and shows for more than 30 years, and is a hub of Lyon’s cultural life.

It’s hard to list all the artists who have graced the Transbordeur stage, because almost all the big names in international rock, chanson, hip-hop and electronic music have once played here! Its eclectic line-up, combined with a rock spirit, makes it a benchmark venue at the national level.

Our spaces can be adapted to suit your corporate events: we have two gorgeous fully-equipped performance halls (300 and 800 m2) and our outdoor space is also available in fine weather!

Our different configurations can be used for conferences (conference hall for 200 to 830 people), meetings (50 to 120 people), product launches, cocktail parties (150 to 1,000 guests) and dance evenings (up to 1,500 guests).
