The Team

Cyrille Bonin

The Transbordeur’s director since 2010. A huge techno fan, he began organising punk rock concerts in the 1980s and discovered the city's music scene as a spectator. He was part of the generation that forged contemporary music’ place in Lyon's cultural landscape, notably with the Nuits Sonores festival. He is now involved on a national scale with the Centre National de la Musique and Ekhoscènes. At the Transbordeur, he is immensely appreciated by the teams for his accessible and benevolent management. His mantra? There's no problem.

David Fontaine

The programmer and assistant manager of the venue. He decides which artists will perform on one of the Transbordeur's three stages. After a stint at the Epicerie Moderne, he joined the Transbordeur team, and since then has been partly responsible for the venue's strong punk rock identity and its reputation as a talent scout. You've probably already bumped into him in the pit of an underground concert, nodding his head with a smile on his face.

Laurie Floucat

The Transbordeur's administrator. Queen of tele-collection, she looks after the venue's accounts, employment contracts and the social management of its employees. She's also our eco-responsibility delegate, always ready to get things moving at the venue. Efficient and always in a good mood, everyone loves her, and rightly so.

Stephan Rocher

The Transbordeur's technical director. He is the longest-serving member of the team, and knows the building inside out. He manages the team of stage managers and technicians, but never fails to get his hands dirty himself, which earns him the respect and admiration of his team. If the sound and visual conditions at the Transbordeur events are so good, it's largely thanks to his impeccable work.

Pierre Paumier

The venue's operations manager. He's the one who makes sure you get the best possible welcome at our events. He manages the team of barmans and barmaids, liaises with the various foodtrucks, the security team and the cleaning team. Always ready to lend a hand when needed, he knows his teams by heart and works in the field himself, always ready to listen. His guilty pleasure? Mixing ambient music, and with talent too.

Lise Epinat

Communications Manager and the latest addition to the team. She's the one who makes sure you hear about Transbordeur events online, in the newsletter, on the city walls and in the local media. After the event, she'll also publish photo albums of your best concerts, captured by the best photographers in Lyon. Don't let the post-it note-covered desk fool you: deep down, she's well organised.
