HEARING PROTECTION
Whether it's your first time at concerts or clubs, or you have been coming for a long time, it's important to remember that these moments of leisure and pleasure are not without risk, and that there are simple solutions to protect your hearing.
The Transbordeur team is keen to inform its audiences and prevent the hearing risks associated with listening to amplified music.
Protective plugs are available free of charge to spectators, with the help of the AGI-SON association, as part of its mission to raise awareness of hearing risks.
We also have hearing protection helmets for children aged 6 to 12. If you would like one, please ask at the bar on the evening of the concert. The helmets are given in exchange for an ID card or 20€ deposit. Children under 6 years of age are strongly advised not to attend concerts in our concert hall, as this could have irreversible consequences for their hearing.
Long exposure to high volume can be risky, so we encourage you to take regular breaks, whatever the event you are attending.
ALCOHOLIC DRINKS
The bar at the Transbordeur is a licence 4 venue, which means that you can buy a variety of alcoholic beverages on the premises. We remind you that alcohol abuse is dangerous to your health and should be consumed in moderation.
From 4 AM, we enter the "white hour", which means that there will be no more alcohol sales from that time onwards. The bar will remain open for the consumption of non-alcoholic drinks.
Before driving, remember to test yourself. Breathalysers are available free of charge at the entrances to the venue. Don't hesitate to ask our staff at the entrances.
FIGHT AGAINS SEXUAL AND GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE
The Transbordeur is actively involved in the fight against sexist and sexual violence and harassment in the party environment. Our in-house teams are trained by Egae in the prevention these violences at work and in public venues, whether it be to receive testimony and support victims, or to identify and isolate aggressors. Any sexist, racist, grossophobic, LGBTQIA+phobic or disrespectful behaviour of any kind will be immediately punished by an expulsion from our establishment. Please do not hesitate to report any inappropriate behaviour you witness to our staff.
In addition to training our staff, a whole series of measures have been put in place by our venue to fight gender-based violences. On the walls of our venue and on the reusable cups in the bar, you'll find a whole series of preventive messages encouraging respect for others and kindness. At all our events, you can ask for a free reusable cup protector at the bar. In the spirit of eco-responsibility, remember to keep it and take it back to your next event.
The Transbordeur also organised a meeting between professionals from the contemporary music industry on the theme of the fight against sexual and gender-based violence. The meeting was an opportunity to pool the knowledge and thoughts of players in the cultural music sector on the subject. We believe that building safe spaces for audiences and workers in the cultural sector requires special attention and concrete measures taken collectively. That's why the Transbordeur is a signatory to the Rider·e Charter.
